The River Church believes God's Word is living and active, shaping how we think, speak, and act. We gather not as spectators but as people being transformed by the Holy Spirit, learning to follow Jesus with our whole lives.
Our values flow from the gospel and are practiced in everyday life.
We build our life together on 7 pillars that shape how we live. Intentional community means we show up for one another, honesty keeps us grounded in truth, serving reflects Christ's example, and faithfulness anchors everything we do.

The purpose of The River
The River Church wants people to know God and experience real change in their everyday lives.
We’re a community that walks side-by-side, learning to know and follow Jesus.
We’re not perfect. We’re not polished. We’re not pretending to have it all together.
You can come as you are.
You don’t have to have the right words.
You don’t have to clean up your life first.
We believe people grow when they’re known and loved—when prayer leads the way, truth is shared graciously, and community shows up.
So we pray before we act.
We teach the Bible for all ages.
We aim to live the same way on Monday that we do on Sunday.
We honor people because every person is made in the image of God.
We stand with each other in celebration and in hardship.
We invest in children, families, and individuals.
We care for the hurting and the vulnerable.
This isn’t a place to perform.
It’s a place to belong, to grow, and to be changed—together.
