CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: RIVER KIDS
Helping kids know Jesus and grow in faith.
From the very first nursery snuggle to the last week of 6th grade, we want every child at The River to know they are loved by God, safe with us, and learning the truth of Jesus in ways that actually meet them where they are.
Who it's for
Babies through 6th grade. We have four classes, one for each major stage of child development, so kids learn alongside friends their own age.
Why it matters
Childhood is when faith starts to take shape. We take that seriously — teaching the Bible in age-appropriate ways, building trust with families, and making church a place kids actually look forward to.

A class for every stage
Kids grow through our four age-based classes — each designed to meet them right where they are.
Pathfinders
~3–6 years old · PreK/K–1st grade
Where young children begin learning simple truths about Jesus and start connecting faith with everyday life.
Navigators
~7–9 years old · 2nd–3rd grades
Where older children deepen their understanding of Scripture, practice prayer, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in practical ways.
Voyagers
~10–12 years old · 4th–6th grades
Where adolescents and preteens build confidence in their faith, ask deeper questions, study the Bible more intentionally, and take visible steps in living out what they believe.
